Two of them look alike.
Just to make sure, I mean that the Voynich elephant and the African elephant look alike. The plant drawing in the Voynich manuscript looks more African than Indian in these aspects:
- No bump on the head: there’s a curve above the forehead, which runs on in a straight horizontal line over the top of the head and ears. In the Indian elephant, the ears are located lower.
- Shape and size of the ears.
- More rugged appearance of the bottom of the trunk. These look strikingly similar in the Voynich and African species.
